September 14, 1944 rich

Synopsis

A newlywed's first real quarrel ends with his wife storming out and flinging back a bitter threat — that he'll never lay eyes on her again. He shrugs it off, certain she's simply cooling down at her mother's house, until a phone call reveals she never arrived there at all. (after Cornell Woolrich)
