Wet Saturday & August Heat

March 20, 1948 partial

Synopsis

A rare hour-long double bill pairing two Suspense stories. In "Wet Saturday," a cold-blooded father schemes to frame an innocent man after his daughter murders the local schoolmaster. "August Heat," adapting William Fryer Harvey, follows -- though no plot synopsis survives for that half in the sources consulted for this dossier.
