The Black Shawl

July 27, 1944 rich

Synopsis

An elderly woman approaches a young fairgoer with an easy offer: come live in her house as a companion, for pay far better than the light duties deserve. She takes the job and moves in without hesitation--only to grow convinced that someone else is hidden in the house with her, and that leaving may not be so simple after all.
