Synopsis

Confined to her bed with only a telephone connecting her to the world, Mrs. Stevenson picks up a crossed line and overhears two strangers calmly plotting a killing. The police brush her off as hysterical, leaving her to piece together, alone, whether the murder they're planning is her own.
